Profile (Artist's Statement)
My artistic practice explores the complex relationships between personal and collective memory, architectural spaces, and new media. Through editorial projects, photographic series, drawings, and videos, I unravel human experience and our interactions with the built environment. Inspired by Japanese horror cinema, I infuse my work with unease and tension, challenging viewers' perceptions. I'm fascinated by the aesthetic potential of decomposition and errors, finding beauty in the imperfect and overlooked.

Project Plan
BLOOP is an experimental horror film project developed and set in a nocturnal, alienating Venice. The project expands into a visual and conceptual universe through drawings, analog photography, and video. Drawing parallels between the atmospheres of Venice and Tokyo, BLOOP explores Japanese horror manga, sea folklore--such as the Umibozu--and Japanese avant-garde cinema. The exhibition presents a layered, immersive environment of projections, original works on paper, and analog images, evoking a dreamlike, unsettling experience where urban waters and monstrous myths collide.
