Residence Plan
I respond to my current situation and environment with whimsical symbols that encapsulate my unique perspective, drawing inspiration from commercial graphics and infusing autobiographical themes. This challenges perceptions, blurs communication boundaries, and explores the relationship between the individual and the visual world. During this residency I will be researching Tokyo's urban signage, aiming to better understand symbolic visual language within culture.
