Artist Event: JENN KANG "My Terminal" Exhibition

Jenn Kang's second solo exhibition in Tokyo, "My Terminal", will be held at AIR 3331 Iwamotocho Studio from June 28 (Fri) - 30 (Sun), where she will present her latest project created during her residency period.

Residence Plan
At AIR 3331, I will be working on a project that explores liminality and its potential to be reproduced or premeditated. I aim to become a resident in an unassuming, "transitory place" in Tokyo - e.g. a terminal or an anonymous hallway, taking images there for at least 14 days while observing the possible shifts in my visual and emotional perception as well as my relationship to the space.

Jenn Kang is a photographer based in Los Angeles. Her artistic practice is rooted in exploring the self in connection to the collective consciousness. Kang's works have been featured in various publications in the US, Europe and Asia, and in exhibitions and book fairs in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Seoul. She plans to continue her pursuits internationally, by participating in residencies, fairs, exhibitions, as well as commercial projects around the world.
