Residence Plan
Marine wildlife photographs become cyanotype-over-platinum/palladium contact prints, bridging digital capture and hand-applied chemistry. The cyanotype veil cools the monochrome image, echoing depth, drift, and suspended light, while the platinum/palladium holds quiet tonal weight. In an era of AI-synthesized imagery, the work foregrounds patience and truth. Each print carries the marks of exposure and variation. Rooted in wabi-sabi, it honors imperfection, tactility, and time.
