Residence Plan
During the residency, I aim to focus on material research of a particular type of building materials. The comprehensive research process will include examination of material properties, extraction processes, craftsmanship, fabrication techniques and cultural significance. I intend to create a comprehensive series of prototypes and physical models as the tangible outcome of this research endeavor. The entire process, from in-depth research to hands-on production, will serve as a testing ground for translating material research into a design methodology for architecture.
