Profile
Kayhan Berkin graduated with honors from Yeditepe University's Theatre Department in 2011 and studied at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art in 2017-2018. He has worked as an actor and director with Zorlu PSM, Istanbul State Theatre, Versus, Mon, Toy Istanbul, DasDas, Uniq and Bursa City Theatre. He received directing awards for "Lampedusa" and "Hippocrates," acting awards for "Hamlet" and "The Kreutzer Sonata," and ensemble/production awards for "Dogville" and "Scenes from a Marriage."

Project Plan
During my time at AIR 3331, I will work on Osamu Dazai's "Schoolgirl," exploring "the loneliness of being young" through a performance that brings together a Japanese girl from 1939 (live on stage) and a Turkish girl from 2025 (on video), framed within a "youth museum" concept.
