Residence Plan
I want to focus on the theme of the Funeral and create artistic installations that can reflect people's attitudes towards life and death and how other people view the Funeral. In China, I have also attend Chinese funeral and see local customs and how different people view the changes in these customs. I am particularly interested in how we, as observers of funerals, perceive life, death, and the associated rituals.

As an undergraduate student majoring Fine Art at SVA, Bao focuses on line language and consistently explores its boundaries, with a restrained and restricted use of color. His work is inspired mainly by folk traditions and personal experiences. Bao primarily uses charcoal and acrylic on raw canvas, expressing his emotions and thoughts through fluid brushstrokes. His artwork ranges from paintings to installations, displaying his ability to apply multiple media to express his thoughts.
