Residence Plan
Make new works, attend some workshops, meet and engage with past artist friends and visit collections I am interested in. Furthermore, I will make full use of the experience of being in Japan, through which I have always found a source of inspiration.

I studied painting at Edinburgh College of art between 1982-87.
From 1987 to 1988, I was awarded young Scottish artist of the year with a studio at Cité Internationale des Arts Paris. From 1991 to 1996, I was part time teaching at Edinburgh College of Art. In 1996 I was awarded a scholarship through the Japanese government to undertake a Masters course in Mokuhanga at Tama Art University, which was completed in 2000 when I returned to Scotland. I have exhibited nationally and internationally in several solo exhibitions and group exhibitions.
