Residence plan
I intend to use this opportunity to inform my new style of provisional painting and its concept to develop my artist practice. I hope to begin a fresh body of work through research and investigation during my time in this program. This includes de-familiarizing myself as a Westerner and re-contextualizing my knowledge of signs and icons. The execution of these paintings will rely on chance and undetermined moves that may look unfinished but have a sense of clarity to them.
