Stay, create and present in Tokyo with 3331 Arts Chiyoda's residence program
Residence Period: 2017.08.18-2017.10.30
Around my childhood and the memories of experiences of my family, my social and political concerns emerged. During this residence I will seek to engage myself with the arranging of a ceremony. This ceremony will involve exchanging a private symbolic object, a personal irreplaceable possesion between me and a Japanese citizen (in my case, something my father will give me from his days in war). It is meant to be a diplomatic encounter between two individuals and their cultural backgrounds, exchanging their family memories. I hope to build this special event as a ceremonial exhibition.
