Primarily using the mediums of ink and watercolor, Sorcha captures fragments of her one-month residency in Tokyo, exploring Kanda and surrounding areas.
The smaller of these "fragments" become a component of understanding, often coalesced and displaced within one another to form large, surreal landscapes.
These mysterious scenes often function as cabinets of curiosity; a visual culmination of the artist's experiences. Dimensions seem to ooze over into one another, becoming something outlandish yet familiar.
