Stay, create and present in Tokyo with 3331 Arts Chiyoda's residence program

German born artist Stefan Hoffmann living and working in Rotterdam uses vertical screen printing, to create site-specific projects, based on existing graphic material. His working process is a search for an adequate visual answer to the specific situation and the social, political issues he encounters.
Hoffmann has been involved in numerous projects in Europe and North America and Asia over the past several years, and has been working with the Andy Warhol Museum, The Museum for Contemporary Canadian Art MOCCA, the Power Station of Art in Shanghai and the Kunsthal Rotterdam.
DESCRIPTION OF RESIDENCE PLAN
For his residency project at 3331 Arts Chiyoda he will be printing on the large windows of the Community space. The printing process will start on March 3rd and can be followed by the public until March 16th.
3331 Arts Chiyoda is delighted to host Hoffmann's first ever presentation in Japan.
