Moe Satt is an artist and curator. He is also the founder and director of "Beyond Pressure" festival of performance art in Yangon, Myanmar where he lives and works. He began to present their works of art after his graduation in 2005 Bachelor of Sciences (Zoology). He began his career as a performance artist presenting his works in the galleries and the on the pavements of Yangon. As part of the second generation of Myanmar performance artists, he has participated in several performance art festivals around Asia & Europe. As curator, his aim is to develop the Myanmar contemporary art scene by developing projects both locally & abroad. He has curated the "On/Off"_Myanmar Contemporary Art Event, Hanoi & "Forward/Backward" _8 Myanmar Contemporary Artists, Bangkok. His recent performance works involve the use of hands as the main medium of expression. He has also joined artist in residencies in Malaysia, S-Korea and Japan. He is currently preparing for the publication of the book "An Introduction of Myanmar performance artists".
