During his short preliminary stay Andres undertook research in preparation for this longer-term residency to commence as of October 2011. These investigations included an examination of digitally induced social participation, the contextualization of the image in the age of new media and the issues of individual and collective identity expressed through fashion trends. Andres provided a series of talks which introduced providing an insight into his wide arts engagement including personal art production, an overview of Japanese Photo Books from the 60's/70's and commentary on the work of W.G. Sebald.
