Residence Plan
During my residency at 3331, I will develop the research for a new film through sustained inquiry in Tokyo. In dialogue with artists across generations, I will combine fieldwork and archival research to examine how individual lives register wider social, cultural and aesthetic change. I expect this research to challenge the film I first imagined and shape its questions, point of view and cinematic form.
