Our Open Call Full-Term Program is designed for those wishing to undertake extensive research or fieldwork, those wishing to focus on the production of new work, or those not only wishing to stay in Tokyo but also hold exhibitions and workshops. Beyond a space to stay and present, the program offers the chance to open up your project in countless ways. AIR 3331 creators have collaborated with other resident artists, made connections with galleries and creative spaces in Tokyo, and have engaged in activities across local communities.

This program is recommended for those seeking a condensed period of studio time, or those wishing to use AIR 3331 as a base for undertaking their project, taking advantage of our central location in Tokyo. The program can also be utilized as a means to a unique environment different from the routine workplace, or as a space to realize short-term exhibitions or events in Japan.

As with our Open Call, this option is open to all fields of curators, researchers, artists, and other professionals working in creative fields as a temporary base for their activities in Tokyo. The numerous metro lines nearby bring the wider Tokyo area within easy reach. Whether exploring the unique art scene and other treasure troves of cultural information in Bakurocho and Nihonbashi, or stumbling upon the taste of Edo in long-established noodle shops, time can be well spent here, even for just a few days.
