Sometimes I think about how many lives I have sacrificed so far to live. And the fact that I am not the only one leads to anxiety about when the Earth will reveal its bottom. Yes, this world will someday collapse. It is natural that life is born and dies someday.
Even if the world were to collapse, human beings might survive like hell. But that new generation will not be the way it is now. With a high probability, most of them will die without growing up. Imagining such a useless being, a 'boy', and making a story was a process of solving my concerns about the 'end' of it.
Residence Plan
During the residency, I will make an animation. The content of the animation was inspired by novelist Moon Eun-kang's short story

I'm drawing a picture and making a animation that captures the energy of space. Space can't talk. So it's easy for us to miss the existence of space. I think space is a living life just like us. Just as we look at space, space looks at us. I bring up space from object to subject by revealing their energy. By doing so, I want to communicate with the space.
