Wang Jun-Jieh was especially invited to 3331 to realize a project to be presented at the (pre) opening of the arts centre itself. Having just launched his own art centre in Taipei with a group of artists, curators and cultural producers/critics Wang undertook an investigation into the very meaning of an arts centre and came to establish the Taipei Contemporary Art Center, Tokyo Branch, /Explore Project. In addition to this exhibition he collaborated with his colleagues in the realization of a symposium entitled "Survival Plan : How Can a Contemporary Art Organization Be Independent?", coordinated by TCAC member Meiya Cheng and including the participation of 3331 Director Nakamura Masato, Chief Curator of the Mori Art Museum Kataoka Mami, curator Sumitomo Fumihiko and TCAC members Manray Hsu and Jun Yang.
